Post Scrimmage Thoughts from Ralph Perez, Head Coach at Uni of Redlands

California United Strikers FC have been preparing for their upcoming Season Opener against Oakland Roots. Scrimmaging a couple of top men’s collegiate teams to prepare, Cal State Fullerton and the University of Redlands, the team has been able to make some final adjustments before Saturday’s game.

Both Head Coaches, George Kuntz and Ralph Perez, bring over 30 years of coaching experience and are well respected in the community. Kuntz, the Head Men’s Soccer Coach at Cal State Fullerton said “It was important for our guys to experience another level, and for us it was a different level”

After playing Cal State Fullerton, the team was able to get another game in at the University of Redlands. Having the opportunity to get some feedback from Coach Ralph Perez, who is the recipient of the Walt Chyzowych Lifetime Achievement Award.  This exceptional award is considered to be the pinnacle of coaching honors in the United States.  With the honor, he joined the company of Bruce Arena, Sigi Schmid, Bob Gansler, Anson Dorrance, among others.
